Is located on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, in the center of the Sonoran coast, 107 kilometers from Hermosillo, the state capital. The Ecological Center of Sonora (Sonora Zoo) is ideal for a relaxed and quiet family stroll. The Ecological Park is located south of the city of Hermosillo, taking the road to Guaymas.

Punta Chueca is the closest piece of land to Tiburon Island separated only by a narrow channel, it has small commercial establishments and it has a total population of 405 inhabitants.

Within the city of Hermosillo, there are 2 classic tracks for road cyclists, the first is located in the hills of Bachoco, it exists from about 13 years ago and has taught courses for riders ranging from the simple to fairly technical; and the second track located in La Jolla residential, and more recently established that in recent years has served as the national headquarters of the sport last 4 due to its complicated design and technical level.
Out of town Charity head found within the hunting ranch of the same name considered one of the most attractive for the beauty of its geographical feature.

Etnia Seri
The Conca'ac, meaning "people" in Seri language, is an ethnic group that continues through time together and passed down from generation to generation, his many skills in hunting and fishing.
The term Seri means "he who runs really fast" in Opata language and "men of sand" in Yaqui; the language of the Conca'ac Hokana comes from family, to which belong the Coahuilteco (northwest Mexico) and Tlapanec, but also ensures that comes from the Yuman group-Hokana Sioux family.
The Seris occupied from archaic times Shark Island and San Esteban, although currently their camps focus on Desemboque and Punta Chueca, corresponds to the first beach town of Pitiquito Hermosillo and the second, but both are located opposite the island Shark.
The Conca'ac territory covers an area of 210,000 hectares, with about 100 kilometers of coastline, where several fishing camps throughout the year in accordance with the cycles of fishing are mounted, such as: Sergeant, Egypt, walls, La Ona, the Vipers and El Tecomate, located at Shark Island.
